Client Needs

At Vårby, the project required an expanded interchange to connect the E4 route with local roads while keeping traffic moving. The works included a roundabout bridge for vehicles and pedestrians, as well as a new walking and cycling route.

Infinity Mätkonsult supported the construction with surveying and setting-out services for the roads, bridge, and associated infrastructure.

Surveying and setting out

Surveying supports accurate positioning and level checks throughout road and bridge construction, helping the site teams build to the design.

Excavation and retaining works

Road widening and excavation works take place alongside existing infrastructure. Surveying helps coordinate levels and positions as the works progress.

Bridge construction

Bridge works progress through several stages, from formwork and casting to the completed structure. Measurements help maintain the required geometry throughout construction.

Works alongside live traffic

Construction and surveying are coordinated with traffic using the existing roads. Some activities are carried out at night or in winter conditions.
